These dive socks are a black 3 mm neoprene foot layer with blind-stitched seams and an anti-slip rubber sole. The panels are CR/SCR/SBR double-sided composite neoprene, cut to ankle height so the sock sits inside a full-foot fin or under a bootie. Q: Are 3 mm dive socks warm enough for cold water? A: They suit tropical and warm-temperate water, and work as a liner under a thicker bootie. For cold-water diving a 5 mm or 7 mm boot is the better choice.
Q: Do blind-stitched seams keep water out? A: They reduce water exchange along the seam because the needle does not run fully through both panels. No stitched neoprene seam is completely watertight; a drysuit boot is the right product for a dry seal.
